Dr. Amit Solanki has been dedicated to the field of ophthalmology since 2003, amassing over 20 years of invaluable experience. He embarked on his journey by completing his undergraduate training (MBBS) followed by further postgraduate studies (MS) at the esteemed B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Driven by a passion for excellence and a thirst for advanced surgical knowledge, Dr. Solanki pursued additional training at the renowned Aravind Eye Hospital in Tamil Nadu, where he served as a Senior Resident for two years. During this tenure, he earned the prestigious Diplomate of National Board in Ophthalmology (DNB) from the National Board of Examinations in New Delhi. His commitment to staying at the forefront of ophthalmic innovation led him to undergo LASIK LASER surgical training in Vadodara, Gujarat. Dr. Solanki's keen interest in Glaucoma and Micro Cataract Surgery propelled him to pursue specialized surgical training in Glaucoma & Advanced Phaco Cataract Surgery at Aravind Eye Hospital in Coimbatore. Here, he had the privilege of working with cutting-edge technologies and honing his skills in advanced phaco cataract surgery, as well as glaucoma diagnostics and management.
Dr. Solanki's expertise has garnered international recognition, as evidenced by his invitation as an International Guest Faculty by esteemed events such as the World Glaucoma Congress in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and the Asia Australia Congress in Thailand. He continually enriches his knowledge and skills by visiting various centres across the country and has been actively involved with the Alina Vision International Foundation, where he trained foreign doctors in Hanoi, Vietnam.
A sought-after speaker and presenter, Dr. Solanki has delivered numerous scientific talks as a guest faculty at national and international conferences, earning accolades for his work and contributions to the field of ophthalmology.
